Two-Point Perspective Grid - Basic Shapes & Shadows

Perspective is a drawing system frequently used by architects, interior designers or product designers. Perspective drawing grids produce realistic and accurate drawings for new designs. Two-point perspective has two vanishing points on a horizon line.

  1. Construct a two-point perspective grid.
  2. Draw a three-dimensional cube on the grid. Draw the cube near, far and floating.
  3. After drawing the cubes, draw other basic forms in perspective such as cylinders and spheres.
  4. Formulate the shadows and shade each object.
