About Origami

Origami, the art of paper folding, has a rich history dating back thousands of years. While its origins are believed to be in Japan, there are indications that similar practices existed in China. Today, the term "origami" is used universally to describe various folding techniques, regardless of cultural origins.

Process

  1. Choose an Origami Template: Select an origami animal and choose a craft paper color that suits your preference.

  2. Fold Paper: Follow step-by-step instructions to fold your paper into the chosen design.

  3. Add Details: After folding, enhance your creation by adding details such as stripes, eyes, nose, and mouth using markers.

  4. Thread: Create a hanging ornament by puncturing a hole in your origami piece with a thumbtack and threading a string through it. Tie a loop at the end for hanging.
