What you do
In this lesson, we'll create graphical illustrations using black outlines and water-soluble paint. Your imagery can encompass typography, animation, scenery, or abstract designs. The key is for these themes to symbolize facets of your personality, making them a representation of you.
Nine-Pane Window Frame: Begin by drawing a 3 x 3 grid of squares in your sketchbook and demarcate the frames. Alternatively, you can use black markers to ink the frame.
Graphic Illustration: Now, illustrate the imagery of your most meaningful things within each of these frames. This could include words, keepsakes, places, abstract designs, people, and more.
Outline: Next, trace your designs with a black permanent marker for clarity.
Color: Finally, add color to your designs using water-soluble paint.
