Collaborating

I'm looking to collaborate closely with a writer to bring a story to life through visual storytelling. Ideally, I'm seeking a creative partner with experience—or strong insight—into the world of graphic novel publishing. I'm open to exploring unconventional narratives and innovative ways of marketing and sharing the final work.

Though I currently work full-time as an art instructor, this project is a personal passion—something I’m deeply committed to developing with care. Quality matters to me above all, and I’m ready to invest the time, thought, and energy required to create something exceptional.

Perspectives on Comics

To me, a comic book illustrator plays a role much like a film director—responsible for shaping the visual narrative, pacing, and emotional impact of the story. We give form to characters, set the mood, and guide the reader's eye across the page, scene by scene.

I believe comics hold enormous untapped potential—far beyond how they're often viewed today. I imagine a future where graphic novels are as culturally respected and widely read as literary fiction or cinema. Perhaps comics can serve as a bridge between those two worlds—offering the imagination of literature with the immediacy of film.

Cinematic Impressions

My artistic sensibility is shaped not just by comics, but also by film. I’m inspired by the emotional resonance and visual depth found in movies like Prometheus, Casino Royale, A Star is Born, Star Wars, Thor, Kingsman, Toy Story, Gattaca, The Godfather, Kung Fu Panda, Avatar, The Matrix, RoboCop, and Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring. These stories, alongside the natural rhythm of the seasons themselves, have left a lasting imprint on how I approach tone, pacing, and atmosphere in visual art.
